Shop charge to install a pulley?
Shop charge to install a pulley? I just recieved my MArch pulley in the mail. I need to rent a pulley puller to do the swap.
My questions are:
How much does it cost and where can I rent the puller?
How much would a shop charge to install it, and is it worth it to have them do it instead?

its 40 bucks to rent the puller at autozone, but when you bring it back they refund you all of the 40 bucks so its free!
I ordered a March as well. Might as well try and do it yourself! There's another post on here about the March bolt being the same size as stock. The poor guy had a hell of a time tryin to find a longer bolt around town.

Find a longer bolt or a piece of all thread before you start. Autozone's tool rental deal will cover the puller. Except for the TB bypass this is the easiest mod I've done, I'm sure any shop will charge at least an hour for labor. It took me a couple of hours but I was drinking and I spend some time trying to tighten bolt in accordance with the instructions. I finally gave up about 10 degrees short of where it was supposed to be. No problems so far.
