Proof of flowmaster being bad???
I've heard of people swearing they lost 30rwhp by putting on a flowmaster, and I've seen people who said their cutout didn't make any difference over the flowmaster...until someone can do that simple test, I'm not going to toss my flowmaster away

Too bad the search button doesn't work, or I would. It's been proven time and time again. If I had time right now to google it, I would. Just do a google and I'm sure you'll find dyno's and all the proof you need. Do some searching and you will be able to proove it to yourself. Don't defend the flowmaster just because you own one. No offense, but there is just no denying that they are a poorly flowing design. I already told you about how my friend gains 25+rwhp with open cutouts. Sorry I don't have a dyno graph, you'll just have to take my word on this. I'm not just making it up because I have some anti-flowmaster agenda!
Look at the guy who posted below me and lost 37 rwhp.

I'm not defending anything, I bought the Flowmaster because I like the way it sounds, nothing more. I know that typically Flowmasters haven't been the most free flowing mufflers around and are designed around a mildly modified bolt on car, but I'm having serious issues believing that someone lost almost 40rwhp from a muffler. But then again, if all they do is talk and never show any dyno sheets, it really doesn't matter because they can say whatever they want can't they?
