Pulley swap at home
#21
All you have to do is get a piece of all thread, M16x2.0. I found it at a local bolt place. It only comes in 3 foot sections so I bought one and cut a few pieces out of it. Then get some washers and a nut to pull the pulley on. This way you can thread the rod all the way in, so when you are pulling the balancer on, you have equal pressure on all the crank threads and not just the first couple. A LOT of people have stripped their cranks using the longer bolt or the stock bolt. A lot of people have successfully done it without threaded rod but to me it is not worth the risk. Do a search for "crank threads" and you will see what I mean.
