kooks vs pacesetter headers
if you are asking the question which flow better? Kooks but by a very small margin if any at all. Kooks are stainless and thats why people would buy kooks over pacesetter not because of huge performance gains

Ok but stainless is not really a benefit over ceramic coated headers. Ceramic coated headers dissipate heat better,and dont discolor as quick as stainless.

if your already running pacesetters, then its really not worth it to swap out a set. You "MIGHT" see a bit more gain going from pacesetter to 1 7/8 Kooks.
I have been running my pacesetters for almost 3-4 years and it still looks great. There is just a slight bit of rust around the collector. But its hardly any at all. I have seen some members selling a set of Kooks and it kinda looks like ****, especially it being stainless.

Id rather have my headers slightly discolored than rusted or flaking. You couldnt pay me to run ceramic coated or painted headers. Go stainless or dont waste your money OP.

And I doubt people can tell any difference with a different header. They will all get you about the same gains. I wuld get atleast coated though. I have painted and if I wuld have done it again I probably would have went with the coated pacesetters.
From what Ive read on here Pacesetters and Hookers are hit or miss. Once in a while they go in very easy and other times its a PITA. ARH/Kooks always have good reviews. I dont think their high price has to do with just being SS. I think the R&D and fitment is top notch and it reflects the price. Your paying for quality not just the material used. Performance wise everything is similiar which I ignored in my first post. Im just commenting on quality,fitment, and longevity. Do it right the first time.
both have same performance kooks maybe a lil more,but quality wise you can't even compare them,my pacesetters showed rust in the first month,I had the ceramic coated ones also,I will be putting on kooks when I swap heads,
Kooks are a major PITFA to install, but the stainless is nice.
Unless you just want stainless headers to make you feel better, Pacesetters are the way to go. Half the price, easier to install, same HP gains.

THIS. TSP headers have the same size primaries/collectors as Kooks or ARH, and cost 1/2 as much. If you plan on going heads/cam, you will want the larger primaries, and TSP offers that on a budget. Do it.
