Default FLOWTECH headers???

are flowtech headers as easy to install as pacesetters compared to others that have to go in from the top like mac mids. people say they dont have to remove steering shaft or oil diverter to install pacesetters just take one out put one in is how they make it sound. i was just wondering how similar the two are???

Get the Pacesetters instead of those Flowtechs's is my advice.

I have installed a se of Flowtechs. They install probably just as easy as the Pacesetters but the flange is only 1/4" thick. When you go to tighten the header down it bends the flange in at every bolt point. Also they have a dent in one of the tubes to clear the K member which is ghetto if you ask me.

Just doesnt make sense to pay nearly the same price for less header. The Pacesetter header has a 3/8" thick flange, no dents, fit like a glove, and the o2 bungs are on the inside of the collector instead of the outside like the Flowtechs.

The Pacesetters seem like a better header from what I've seen. They're what I'll be getting anyway.

The pacesetters are MUCH better headers. If you take the cheap route with the flowtechs, you'll likely pay for it in the end. They are known to leak, are poorly made and have puny 1/4" flanges. Do youself a favor and steer clear of the flowtechs.

Or try Hedmans. Cheaper than the Pacesetters, reviews say good quality and fit.

yes but smaller pipe diameter on the hedmans (1 5/8 stepped to 1 3/4)...might be good if your a bolt on car but anything more serious and it MAY restrict flow (haven't tested, just talking from the various discussions about primary sizes I have read)
