throttle body Hey guys,new to the site so please be nice.I'm sure it's been asked a hundred times but here goes again.I just got done reading how to build a h-p ls1/ls6 and ls1/ls6 performance and they talked about using a truck 85 mm throttle body/air valve as the guy down the yards called it.Are there any mods to make to the 85mm or is it a bolt on.Also what yr and truck size,meaning body series and engine size?Any help is much appreciated.E-mail back at Tom01SS@aol.com=Thanks

There's many options with TB's. The most popular is porting your own, it will make a noticable difference and is completly free if you do it yourself. Most people don't worry about changing the TB until they upgrade the intake manifold to something like a 90mm FAST intake and then they go with an after market TB such as a FAST 90mm or a Nick Williams.
