Default Darn knock sensor

SES light keeps coming on because of my knock sensor, im thinking its because of my loudmouth exhaust. I saw a while back some kind of rubber mount alot of people with headers where buying that kept the knock sensor from coming on anyone know what it is and where i could get one?

You're talking about the Mufflex bump stop hanger. It goes on aftermarket y-pipes to stop them from banging on the bottom of the car.

Some people also do poly motor mounts to stop the y-pipe from banging.

As far as I know the y-pipes banging have never caused the SES knock sensor code. You might just have a bad knock sensor. They usually go out after about 100,000 miles.

well thats great news for my camaro lol 143K lol.

It was the Mufflex Bump stop, but the poly motormounts and Trans mount seem to be better. If you dont want them on to you can turn off the Knock sensors, but your SESlight wont go on if you have any type of knock
