Question Cutout/chambered muffler???

On a stock LS1, what would be the right one for great and aggressive sound?

1/Cutout + chambered muffler in the I-pipe and stock muffler removed.
2/Cutout only.
3/Chambered muffler in the I-pipe only.

Cutout 3" from QTP and Powerstick from wwwclassicchambered.com

What would you do and install? how would each one of them sound? any comment and suggestion?

I'd vote for #1, thats exactly what I'm going to do. If you go with just a Cutout, it will be cheaper obviously. But, when the Cutout is closed you're going to sound nothing but Stock.
If you go with just a chambered muffler in the I, I've heard it isnt much more quiet than a Cutout. So, you may just want to do that.
I think I'm going with a cutout before the chambered muffler, so I have the best of both worlds. When its closed, still loud......when its open even louder haha.
Good luck!

i had a cutout in my I-pipe with a stock muffler and i loved it cause it was :sleeper: kids would come up next to me and thing it was my moms car cause its a red convertable then id open the cutout and blow there doors off and they would just stare in awe. i think the idea of the chambered muffler in the i pipe and the cut out wouldnt be the way to go because they are goin to be right by each other so they are gonna sound almost the same. so i would do one of the other, im about to install headers and ORY and im gonna put a cut out on each side about six inches from the header and have my tsp rumbler exhaust so with the click of a switch OPEN HEADERS!!!! ha, see a cop hit the switch and it goes back through the bullet and out the tailpipes.even though around here you can be as loud as you want because the cops seem to love it they just like at you and smile.

Yes, I'm thinking of doing the chambered muffler in the I-pipe only, no cutout (putting the chambered muffler in the TSP rumbler would also sound great IMO and be another option).

powerstick + loudmouth = low rumble when under 2k rpm... very aggressive sounding above that.

I use to have a sound clip of mine somewhere, if i can find it i will edit/add another post.

P.S. get true duals and put one on each side... may sound excellent... That is the only other setup i would ever want.
