Will this work? Hooker headers to slp y-pipe. Ok, I've got some Hooker stainless headers and I need a good y-pipe. The slp y-pipe that is offered with the slp long tubes seem like a good pipe but I'm not sure if it will fit. Talked with SLP about it and didn't get anywere. How come nobody has a clue about anything they sell these days. Is is because sales reps are completly ignorant or is it because everything is engineered and manufactured in Asia? 
Does anyone know the specs on an slp y-pipe? I'm looking for the width between collectors. the slp y is designed to have converters or extensions to reach the headers so that wont be a problem. Just looking for the width.

No because of the angle at which the headers come down. I originally had the SLP headers and y-pipe, when I went to the Hooker headers the SLP y wouldn't line up with the Hooker collectors. Just get the coated Hooker Y-pipe and save yourself a headache.
