Default need a quick answer here

ok im in my garage trying to take my loudmouth apart so i can transport

i cant get the damn pipes apart!

i even used a torch to heat it up just a little and its not working. the pipe will spin about 1/8 of a turn, but the clamp was on so tight that there is a crease in the metal.

grrr

any ideas?

Rubber mallet, bang it out. If that doesnt work, id try to wedge something inbetween the two pipes but being careful enough not to peirce the other pipe.

I had the same problem.... i even took it too an exhaust shop.... they said it had to be cut because the clamps were so tight on there.......

D

yeah there is no room between the pipes. and this stuff is serious stainless steel, its not gona be bending any time soon, oh well ill just leave it together dammit

Summit racig sales an exhaust pipe seperator for about 40 bucks. If you can wait that long for one.
