We all know that long tubes make the most power. Sure, the shorties are a compromise, but if your car is a 98-99 I believe they can help. On Horsepower TV they put Edelbrock shorties on a 98 camaro and got 15 horsepower to the wheels. On top of that, they took 40 pounds of the front of the car by losing the "heavy" stock manifolds. I don't believe they are worth getting unless you can find a used set for cheap, and if you live in a Smog **** state like Cali. Another benefit to them is the ground clearence on lowered cars and and not being hassled by cops because they have C.A.R.B. certification. Just my .02
I want LT's so bad for my car, but the god damn state of California sucks for emmissions. But i think ill be done for mods for a little bit, because I have only had my car for about a month and I have done all in sig. So im gonna look around and see if I could find a local Sacramento shop that doesnt give a ****.
