Default Need help removing intake!!

OK I finally have started the winter tear down and I have run into a snag. I cannot get the intake off. I have removed all of the wires / hoses and have removed all 10 - 8 mm bolts but the thing is not budging. Is it sealed to the block?? Do I just need to force it to break the seal or is there another bolt or bracket that I am missing??

As long as you removed or atleast loosened all of the main bolts, there is nothing elso holding it to the engine. once you get it free there are some vacuum lines in the back that are hooked up to it and you also have the brake booster fat vacuum line. hope this helps

That may help you out, just to make sure you actually have everything off.

That is the article I used - still not moving - gave up for the night so I do not bust something. I have even removed the 4 bolts holding the fuel rail on. Strange.

That is strange, walk away, give it some time, I bet you will go out there tomorrow and it will come right out.
