Vacuum leak after LS6 intake install
Vacuum leak after LS6 intake install Other than the brake booster line and the small vacuum line on the rear of the intake, what could cause a vacuum leak after an LS6 install? Been fighting an 1800rpm idle since the intake went on, and my last idea is that it has to be a vacuum leak somewhere. I have absolutely no idea where it could be, but I'll probably be pulling everything off again this week and into this weekend to see why in the HELL this damn car won't idle right. Been through 3 ECU resets, checked everything I can think of without pulling the intake off. Definitely starting to annoy the hell out of me.
The port gaskets not seated right will cause a vacuum leak too. Spray where the intake meets the head with something like Brake Part Cleaner and if it starts to idle like it's supposed then thats your problem.
