it should. The back is shaped like a hook, so if you turn the front of the intake to the right (drivers side) and the rear of the intake towards the left (passenger side) it should come around the unit.

Heres a good one. I broke mine a year ago and have been riding around like that. Well yesterday the rest of the sending unit blew out while driving and oil is spewing out everywhere, so now the dealer is gonna rape me to fix it. I would just do it myself but I just moved to my new place here in Savannah and dont really have the time for it.

just did it. damn it i knew this thread was out there and i wasnt sure what it was. i knew it was a black thing that a lot of people broke and i was like eh im ok but **** me too. son of a bitch. errr!
