Default volant question

I have the SLP bellow in my 02 WS6. Today I was trying to install my new volant intake, and it won't line up correctly with the MAF. Has anyone else had this problem? Should I go back to a stock bellow?

Had the Volant on my T/A with the SLP bellows...... NEVER stayed together!!! It popped loose every time I stepped on the gas and the motor torqued.

ditch the air system.....its worthless n it cleans up the engine bay and gives you less weight and more space as well

The breather is for '00-'02 fbodies that tap into the air cleaner assy for the air source to the AIR system. '98 and '99 have a small air filter on the AIR system pump. Off topic but, no air tubes makes it easier to change the plugs.

I just used the stock bellow, not happy with how it holds the radiator on one side. For the amount of money it cost it should fit better.

I'd say the whole system is about 15 pounds with the airpump being about 10 of it so (shrug).

I agree.
Mine didnt line up either, so I had to make the hole in the box bigger, then the plastic "y" wouldnt fit over the maf, so i had to dremmel that out, plus a few other modifications. I love it now that it fits, but it took lots of fabricating to get it to work right.

Most of the time you have to try different couplers, trimming, etc. to get things to line up the way you like.......seems to be all part of the program.
