I just did the same thing today. It only searched for an idle for the first couple of minutes as it said it would in the instuctions. Once it settled in I took it out for a drive and everything is great. Very punchy right off the line, and seemed to lose a little in the mid range, but up top it really sings. It's so punchy in fact that when I got off the freeway to turn around I left the light turning left and it actually kicked the *** end of the car around. Was fun but really suprised me as I didn't give it much throttle. Check and make sure you don't have any vacuum leaks. Did you transfer the o-ring on the IAC? If not that is most likely your problem. I almost missed it too. Good luck and enjoy.
