I cracked open (not literal) my FAST manifold and did some minor port matching and then cleaned it out. When I reseal it, are there any tips with the RTV so that I can avoid having leak issues that some have reported and on the other hand dont have too much rtv that there are blobs hanging out intot he runners? Just looking for any prior experinece from others to shorten the learning curve a bit.

i called the shop today about it.
i just ported mine and bolted it back together. he said fast said as long as all the gaskets were in place it should be fine.....

 

What are you guy's using to port them?

 

A dremel tool with a nice set of burs will do nicely. And then finish it with some 220 grit sand paper.

I had mine port matched at TEA though.
