Quiet LM2

I have a lid and flowmaster muffler on my 01 SS, a buddy of mine came over yesterday with his 02 SS with shorties and a LM2. My car is NOTICEABLY LOUDER than his..... Why would this be??? I was wanting to get the LM2 for a louder sound but that wouldnt be the case. Any opinions??

get a LM I, it will be MUCH louder than both of your current systems combined! Also the flowmaster mufflers for our cars sucks. It is a shitty crossflow design and doesnt flow well so id look for something else regardless.

Be aware that the LMII is only marginally quieter then the original LM setup. I have LMII w/ LT's and a ORY and it is loud as hell. With stock y pipe and cats my exhaust sounded good with no rasp, now with longtubes it sounds GREAT but with some backfiring/popping. Gotta love it.
