Fast 78mm throttle body?
Fast 78mm throttle body? hi
I am interested in upgrading my stock 2001 LS1 throttle body,
I like the FAST 78MM
I will still be using my stock 2001 LS6 intake,
i need to know a few things, what is the size of the mouth-opening of my stock ls6 intake, and what is the size of my stock throttle body,
and not the front of it , the back where is mates up to the intake,
does the 78mm T-body match the stock intake mouth-opening?
how much extra power can i see by installing the FAST 78mm

im no expert but from what understand a ported stocker is just as good. and with just a TB you wont much of a gain at all. thats just what i understand from other people telling me the same thing when i asked a similar ? a while back.
There are a couple pretty good write-ups out there on how to do it. I don't know if www.installuniversity.com has one, but that would be a good place to start.
