Question MSD wire ?

when using the new msd wires are you suppose to use the heat shield that came with the factory wires?

I think you should but just not certain

I didn't use them. Thought that they were tacky. I have used MSD's in all my cars and they have all held up fine to the heat.

i didn't use em - i don't think they'll fit over the part where the MSD logo is on the wire anyway

Had MSDs without the heatshield for over a year now with no problems.

they were engineered for that type of heat. It will be ok.
