"Urgent Part Needed"

"Urgent Part Needed" Does anyone have an EGR Block off plate lying around? I have new pacesetter headers on my car in the body shop and they didn't have the block off plate. I called pacesetter Tuesday and they said they would priority mail me one. This is Saturday and still no plate. I think they blew me off. I have to get one asap so I can get my car test driven from the accident in December and returned.

Are you talking on the headers or the intake, for an emergency block off plate, use a can (if it's on the headers a thicker gauge metal will last longer) cut the can in the shape of the mounting flange, and use a high temp gasket, it won't last long (on the headers), but will get you a short test drive, if it's on the intake, you can use a soda, or beer can (that'll last longer since it won't be exposed to alot of heat)
