Does anyone make an exhaust like this? Or has anyone tried it? I have 3" TD's and have horrible ground clearance plus its really cramped back by the rear end. I hate it, but like the power. But I was thinking- If someone made a 3" Y pipe that became 4" where the 2 pipes meet, then ran a 4" muffler and 4" pipe (out the back or dumped by the axle for those with sumped tanks), that would flow well right? I would think having the muffler up front would clear up some room (4" bullet maybe??) and make the rest of the system easy to fit. Forgive me if this is old news, I'm kinda new with LS1 stuff.
I use a flomaster merge collecter ( dual 3' into a 4' pipe) and split it at the rear over the axle and have my mufflers at the end, Like a vette, Sounds great inside not to loud and I feel is as good as true duels
