Default air box lid o2 sensor wires pulled HELP

so i was carelessly polishing some stuff under my hood and polishing wheel sliped out of my hand and ripped the two wires out of that sensol in the airbox lid. if someone could check and see whice wire goes where that would be a great help, however since its an aftermakert lid i pulled the sensor off then put it back into the new lid so if you say "front" it might really be my back. i dont know if theres a marking that can identify where "front" might be. for all you car einsteins (not the guy that just pulls sensors like this off to think it makes it faster) do i even need this.

it's called an air intake temperature (IAT) sensor. yes, you need it. the two wires don't matter which insert they go into.
