I know I've seen dynos back to back they gain on ls1s but not as much as other setups and most everyone agrees they sound like utter ***.

I don't have the graphs saved sadly but I'm a very "prove it" kind of person I saw it before myself before i'd bash a company.

This is the one and only topic that has mystefied me since I started hanging out on this board I haven't heard anything but hearsay about the Flowmaster, comments to the effect of "I've heard it's bad" or "I've been told it's bad"... can anyone produce a dyno chart and show something to the effect of "my car put out 295 rwhp stock and with the Flowmaster it's now putting out only 285" to prove it? (And it doesn't prove anything if you add/remove multiple mods at once by the way, the only way to get a genuine idea of how well the catback flows is to dyno before/after you've done only that mod, otherwise you don't know for sure what's affecting your numbers)

I have heard the American Thunder 80 series system in person on a car with stock manifolds and cats and I think it sounds freakin' AWESOME and it's dirt cheap too, it sure would be nice to know that it at least flowed halfway decent... I understand that the 80 series mufflers are designed for sound not for performance so it's not going to flow AS WELL as like the Loudmouth but surely the claims of losing hp over stock are a little extreme???

I've never claim or heard of any power loss from them and I'm sorry I never saved them but I do remember seeing they gain less then others.
for example: stock I made 285 WHP with flowmasters I made 290WHP and with Borla I made 295WHP. I'm not sure if the gains were that far off even I just used a round number.

Most people myself inculded think it sounds horrid. Some people like it and In dual setups i've heard it sound sweet. I belive a 80s series was used.
