O2 extensions for Mac headers on 2000 T/A?
O2 extensions for Mac headers on 2000 T/A? Do I need Extensions with my Mac headers for the drivers side forward O2 sensor? I am putting my new eng. in and am not sure if the forward driver side O2 hooks up by the alternator . If so mine does not reach and just wanting to know if this is normal to need an extension on that one? <img border="0" alt="[Firebird]" title="" src="graemlins/formula.gif" />

no on the macs you won't need the extension, out of all the sensors you remove with the old exhaust get the longest one, they are all pretty close in length anyway and unhook the fwd drivers side connector from the slide type bracket its connected to and you should be good...just did a mac header install on a 2001 a couple of days ago.. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
