Re: would headers void any warranty? It will depend on what dealer you use, some are pickey and some aren't. It wil also depend on what your warranty claim is for, will the installation of the headers effect the warranty item? Ask around in your area for a dealer who is not so pickey about aftermarket mods.

Re: would headers void any warranty? if you go with shorties, JBA's, then probably not. if you go long or mid length then it will more than likely void it, since you are moving the cats back further and it'll take longer for them to warm up.

Re: would headers void any warranty? Ever heard of SEMA federal law prohibits manufacturers from voiding your warranty just for having aftermarket parts on it. Now if the aftermarket part causes something to fail I think that they can refuse to warranty that part. As long as the part does not alter the vehicle to where it is not emmisions legal then you should be in the clear. Hypertech has a write up about it on their website or you could just look up SEMA. Re: would headers void any warranty? Yes, it all depends on the dealership. If they are peckerheads, you will be screwed. The dealer where I bought my car used to be cool. But then they got a new service manager. Now this guy is a dick. I took the car in for a bent pushrod, and he told me they could not properly diagnose the problem, because I had "aftermarket" plugs in there (NGK TR-55 plugs) <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> So I went home, put the stock plugs back in there (except #8, which is such a pain in the *** I knew they would not check it <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
Then they fixed my problem under the warranty. What a P.I.T.A.
My point is, it does depend on the dealer and even if you find a good one, they CAN turn bad on you. So just find another one !

Re: would headers void any warranty? Some dealers want your business. I had a problem with my dealer. Talked to the owner and my car was fixed with no questions asked. I reminded them that this was the 4th car purchased from them, and my business in the future would depend on my treatment by the service department. He walked down to the service department, and had a chat with the service manager.
