Installed 160Tstat where should my gauge be?

Installed 160Tstat where should my gauge be? Its a little bellow the 210 mark. I dunno the dial/arrow/whatever is a little lower then it used to be.
When I did a 160 stat in my s10 the dial was in a completely different part of the guage.

That's normal, your gauge is really nothing more than an idiot light with a needle. I believe '98 was the only year that had a real gauge, after that they all read just under 210 once they reach a certain temperature. I believe at some point it will go up in the red but I've never gotten one hot enough to do that.

Hehe already had that covered. 
Met up with a local guy who tuned it with HP Tuners for me. Not sure what temp he set for the fans but he told me they will come on sooner.
Thanks for the info about my dummy gauge guys Its rainy outside so I can't really find out how well it's working.

had mine hooked up to snap on scan tools one time, doing diag. checks or something of the sort.. after sitting still running for about half an hour, my car was still at 173-5 degrees.. this is with the 160 stat and HPP3 prog for fans. but yeah, like everyone else says, the gauge will read the same as it did before..
