power loss?

I was told that the lingenfelter aluminum intake will cause a loss of about 25 horsepower when it gets hot. Has anyone ever heard this?

That intake is a nice intake but its not going to loose 25hp from heat soak. You might loose at most 10hp but not enough to tell unless your going back to back runs with someone. Look at it this way, that intake acts like a sc or turbo if you run them over and over without a break they get hot right? well so does the intake but not 25hp loss hot.
