If I'm not mistaken (which I am often <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> ) MAC Mid's are smog legal, in fact, I think mine came with some sort of statement certificate that you could show to the smog tech's to prove this, I would have to look for it, but I know it's somewhere <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> As long as you run cat's I would suppose you would be alright, whoever you order headers from should be able to tell you if they are "smog legal"

handle the power.
I say DRY, not wet. Even if you run it conservatively you can still see at least 60-85 hp gain. I woudnt drag with it I would use it for highway.
