Default Re: 27 degrees of timing at WOT

It's normal to see timing in the 40* range at part throttle. Prior to MAFT and HPP3, my 2000 SS would consistently sit around 40* cruising in 6th gear. WOT is really what you should be concerned with and 27* is about the max (actually it would always max out at 27.5*) that I was getting on the stock tuning.

Hope that helps.

Yup, sounds right. I see 27.5 max timing at WOT with the stock MAF. About 30 with ported ends.

It is plenty normal to see crazy timing figures at part throttle.

Default 27 degrees of timing at WOT

What would make my timing be 27 at WOT then go to 40 at part throttle? Would a bed 02 sensor cause this?
