Hooker catback Is the Hooker catback available for LS1 f-body? I love the sound (and price) of it but have only found it for the LT1 so far. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> I have a 98 Z28. Anybody have any news on the Gale Banks catback for the LS1, soundclips?

Re: Hooker catback Hooker is out for the ls1. I have one, as do many people on this board. It is my favorite catback that I have heard on the LS1. If you have long tubes and offroad pipes, you get no drone or rasp whatsoever. The tips look great, just spray them with clear coat when you get them so they dont get tarnished or rust on them. With long tubes and offroad pipes it is a great setup.
You can swing them for like 269 shipped from several parts dealers, and about 289 shipped from some sponsors on this site. I am very happy with mine. Do a search, lots of members have them and I haven't seen any complaints about them. Pics of it are on my site.

Re: Hooker catback Yes it is availble. I have it on my 98 Camaro. I love it except for exhaust tips rust real easy. The sound was real mellow until I just added SLP headers, ORP and TR 224 cam. Now it sounds real nasty.
