Air Filter I need help with what I should choose. I know about the FIPK but I need to know whats the best out there. And is it possible to put a clear whisper lid on a FIPk? <img border="0" alt="[Firebird]" title="" src="graemlins/formula.gif" />

Re: Air Filter You definitely cannot combine the clear lid with the FIPK, it's a totally different system, the FIPK uses a large filter shaped somewhat like a cone, while the clear lids use a panel type filter.
A lot of people are using the new Holley Powershot filter with good results. Honestly though, you won't see more than a 1 or 2hp difference between a stock OEM filter or a K&N panel filter. (you will see a bigger difference going to the FIPK but mainly because it's a whole different setup, not just the filter)
