Default Low coolant light on. Sensor bad???

I've just started experiencing this problem. When I first start the car in the morning everything is fine. Once the car reaches full operating temp the low coolant light comes on. I've checked the level numerous times and it's full. The car isn't getting any hotter than normal at all either. I'm thinking the sensor is bad. Anyone else have this happen to them or have any suggestions. How much is a new sensor if it is bad?

Thanks
Will

Reset the computer and see if it still does this.

i think i paid around $20 for a new sensor. my low coolant light would come on as soon as i started the car, but the coolant level was full. after i put the new sensor on, all is well again.

Dude! My car had the sensor go bad the day after I got it. The dealer replaced it three times in one week <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> Then they just disconected it which I discovered while the car was on a lift getting the clutch replaced, I could see the wire hanging down. So I wnet back to the dealer, almost killed the service writer and had a new sensor installed. Been fine ever since.

My wife's 99' camaro is having the same problem. I flushed the radiator system etc... still the light keeps coming on. I'm sure it's a bad sensor.
