Info on EGR inside please

I did the EGR free mod the other day and now my ses light is coming on ...any ideas.than

I would imagine this is nothing caused by doing the egr mod. But I'm not completely sure. Maybe you have some sort of problem elsewhere. Maybe someone else will know more about it. This is just my guess.

did you try checking installuniversity.com? i think that they might have had a similar problem when they did their egr mod. good luck.

Maybe you've got a bad seal around the EGR resulting in a vacuum leak. Check for a 'hissing' sound by the EGR valve. Make sure your o-ring is seated correctly too.

it is the o-ring most likely. i did the free air mod to my car and had the same thing happen. i just paid the dealer $30 to tell me i screwed up. u can turn the o-ring upside down and it should fix the leak.
