Default Clean the MAF?

Should I clean the screen on the MAF??? I don't know if that is a maintenance item on an LS1 or not. I just cleaned & oiled my filter the other day and I was looking at the screen and it looked clean and all, but I thought I'd ask. Especially since I've heard of people having issues if filter oil gets on it or the sensors. Should I spray it down with some sensor safe TB cleaner at filter cleanings, or just leave it the hell alone? Thanks.

I clean it shortly after cleaning my oiled filter. if to much oil is sprayed on filter, it can be sucked thru and get on maf. so I purchased electrical cleaner in an aerosol can. works good.

Yes we use it here at the shop. It does work very good. You can probably pick it up at a local Carquest or NAPA auto parts store
