All you have to do is put the front of the car on some regular jackstands in the highest setting. I've done a few dozen headers and none have had to habve the car higher than that.

I can confirm that Pacesetter, Hooker, Jet Hot, and Flowtech headers can be installed with the front wheels 8" off the ground.

I had my car 3 1/2' feet of the ground. It was insanity.

I just installed my pacesetters recently and I used regular car jack stands at the highest setting , they were a piece of cake to install, a few of the header bolts were a little bit of a pain but still I thought it was pretty easy over-all.

I still don't see how you get under the car, unless the opening is wider than the car. But very clever if you can get it to work

lmao! Me too.

Hey, these are 1&3/4 Kooks headers. Are you guys saying 2 ton or 3 ton jack stands will do the job? If that's the case, then I could do it in my garage!

.....Not that I'm chickening out or anything.

have you thought about needing someone else? If the car is on top of the drain, you wont be able to get in ,nevermind OUT!! Choose your accomplice wisely =p

I'm doing my install next weekend. I was planning on getting my car up as high as I could, but it sounds like people are doing it with the tires only 5-9" off the ground. Anybody install them just driving the front wheels up on some ramps?
