HELP egr prob. Got a set of used headers with no egr pipe.I have an 98 LS1 with egr, can I just take it off? When I unplug it it throws the SES light does this hurt anything? If I can just do away with the EGR valve what short of reprograming the com. can I do?
Or did I get screwed on the headers?

Re: HELP egr prob. You can unplug it, but you will get a SES light. It will not hurt performance though. It can be programmed out using LS1 edit! <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />

Re: HELP egr prob. My Bad no airpump <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> I was looking at the AC comp. LOL (dumba$$) So if I take the egr off do I have to put any kind of crankcase vent (pcv valve) in? Or just cover the hole in the intake and take care of the SES light
