Throttle spacer
Throttle spacer Has anyone seen any hp increase using a throttle spacer? One of the vendors sell a N2O injection plate that showed an substanial increase in NA power when dyno'd. If that's the case, I might consider running one even if I don't install the N2O plate.
It's only proven effective on wet manifolds (fuel gets sprayed in the intake inlet, a la TBI systems or carbs)... our intakes are dry. If spacing the throttle is effective on our cars, heck, put the throttle body in the fender well and run a pipe up to the intake manifold. Why stop at 1/2" or whatever... 
I agree with it being effective on wet flow (ex TBI) manifolds. I've seen some dyno #s on some TBI spacer test where they picked up significant hp and torque. I hadn't really seen anything on dry manifold setups and I guess that's why. I was checking into replacing my N2O injector with one of the new plate injectors, and a couple of the guys mentioned that during a head to head test, the engine even picked up several hp when they weren't spraying........Just wondering why
