Default Hooker Y-pipe people in here......

What material does the y-pipe come in if its uncoated? I found the uncoated y-pipe for $170 and the coated y-pipe for $260. Isn't the material stainless anyways? I know the coating would be , but, the budget says . What is the deal? Thanks, Shawn

The uncoated ypipe is just plain bare steel. Its not stainless or even aluminized. Sounds like a rust problem waiting to happen.

BTW, I ordered the coated one from Jet-Hot today. Remember they offer a 3 month payment plan, so only 80bucks a month!
