Going true duals..a simple ?

ok im installing my long tubes this weekend and decided to got the tru dual setup . i dont trust no shops around me to fabricate me a x pipe so were is the best place to buy a x that will fit my 98 ta ..i also have two 10 series flowmasters to put on and dump so any help be appreciated thanks guys

jegs and summit both sell universal x pipe kits that would supply you with the parts you need.

also, get a vid of that when you're done. i just installed longtube pacesetters last weekend and am throwing around mufflers for a TD setup, as well.

I used the summit x pipe. You will still need to have a shop fab it up for you.

Well no dual exhaust is going to "fit" your car without some fabbing, unless you go with tsp's duals. If you want to make your own and want the least amout of fab work, try what I did. I used a flowmaster merge kit from summit racing (part# FLO-15932) and the same 1 chamber mufflers you plan on using, dumped at the axle. The passenger side will fit perfectly with only minor trimming. The driver's side requires you to get a couple mandrel bends and cut/weld them in to connect the merge kit to the driver's side header. I have some pics/sound clips of my setup if you want to see/hear it. Good luck!
