Spintech Question NEED HELP I am looking on geting a new muffler and I have decided on the spintech system but I just want the Muffler my father in law owns a muffler shop so i don't need anything else
which part number fits my application?? 99 Trans am LS1

If you are just trying to replace your stock muffler it should be (1) 2 1/2 in and (2) 2 1/2 I that is the stock size pipe?? But I didn't see anything like that from there site.
You say your father-in-law owns a shop, so I'm guessing he wouldn't charge you labor or give you some kind of family hook up...in that case you may want to run true duals which is what I did. I put Kooks headers on too but my buddy left his stock manifolds and ran TD's from there back. We both used these (http://www.spintechmufflers.com/spin...ntechindex.asp) 2 1/2 in and 2 1/2 out on both sides. People say that SpinTech's kill horsepower, but they've done well on both of my cars and I LOVE the sound!
