Default Exhaust set-up help needed for H/C

I currently have the loudmouth on my SS, however I am getting a H/C set-up next week. The problem is is that I will be getting Macs w/or y-pipe. I heard that this will sound very cheap and raspy. I have my original Dual/Dual SLP system I can put back on, BUT,I want to here the cam lope! Will it be too quiet with that set-up? Thanks for any thoughts or suggestions.

I would go long tubes if you can afford it, it will really let that H/C breathe a little better. Otherwise, why not just get a cutout?
