Default Help, engine temp gauge not working

I got my FLP headers installed Tuesday. I got an SES light and the guy who put them on hooked up his computer and it was the rear O2s throwin the code, he said. So today I went to take out the O2 simms and get them replaced. I took out the passenger side easily but then went to the drivers side when I noticed the O2 simm didn't have that little blue thing in to hold the connection together so I was hoping it was loose, after much time went by, I finally got that stupid little blue thing in, what a pain. I reset the computer and it hasn't thrown a light yet but it probably will sometime tomorrow.
Now though, while driving around, my engine temp gauge is all the way to the left and doesn't move at all, was this caused by the header install, but it just took awhile to wiggle loose, or from me messin around with the O2 simms today? Where is the engine temp sensor and the wires for it so I can get everything all tightened back up and working right. thanks
Chris

The Coolant temp sensor is located on the drivers side head right above the # 1 primary pipe. The guy who installed the headers could have broken the sensor or might have forgot to hook the connector up to it. A new sensor is around $13.00 not a big deal.

I pulled out the connection on it, blew on it to make sure there wasn't any debris in it, plugged it back in, checked the wires around it, turned on the car and it's working fine now. I wonder what had messed it up.
