Big pics of FLP install.
OK, here's some shots of the headers installed. These are FLP headers and I can say that I've installed at least 15 sets of headers in my life and without a doubt the quality of the kit was the very best and the installation not bad at all because the design is so good. But you pay for this quality, in the end you'll be out $1500 for the headers and all the other parts you need. (This does not include any labor.) You see the two straight tubes about 18" long with clamps on each end? Those are the off-road or test pipes, they come out and you can install the included catalytic converters in about 15 minutes. That's pretty sweet. I have the cats out now because I'm going to dyno next week. The sound is just freaking fierce. I use Corsa cat back and the combination is just brutal, mothers will be drawing their children in close when I round the corner. If you are considering headers then look hard at FLP. I've heard that the C5 set is just as nice. Four shots, two from the top and two from the bottom to give you an idea of how they look. I did sustain a minor injury putting these pipes in but that's because I have giant bear paws for hands and GM makes knife edge, metal manifold gaskets.

Hey...Are you using o2 SIMMS when running it without the cats? The only reason I ask is b/c I see the you have the o2 sensors still pluged in..

The front O2 sensors must be hooked up for the car to run properly. The rear O2 sensors will run off sims with the cats out.

They are very nice pieces. I just installed mine and everything went great. I went to the track and gained a full 3/10ths+ before getting to fine tune it in and the sound of the car is awesome. I almost want to shed a tear just thinking about it. Other than the cost, I am competely satisfied and the $$$ issue faded quickly after I fired up for the first time. Nice pics man. It looks like you did an awesome install. I can see you smiling right now. Take care.
