I had TSP 3in true duals with 18in bullets installed like 6 months ago. After about the first two months i had them extended over the axle and out the back. Well now i want to go back to what i had but i wanted to switch to sweet thunders with cutouts after the ST's. This way i could cap them when i wanted to go on a long drive or what not. Does this sound like a good idea? What does ST sound like out the back compared to the bullets? Another thought, i have heard that cutouts make everything black under the car, is this true? If so what can i do about that?

as a side note the mufflers are in the same place that the come from TSP, so they did not get moved to the back of the car.

i have an offtopic question:

how much of a difference did you have with interior noise by switching from dumped exhaust to your over the axle/out the back setup?

 

interior drone and rattle was a huge difference. my duals made everything in my car rattle and it was hard to keep a conversation with a passenger or on the phone. Over the axle and out the back made if a more peacful ride, so i just thought i would get the cut outs just for when i felt the urge. but i dont think i have ever gotten so many complimants on the duals dumped.

 

Have you ever seen the Warlock mufflers with the built in cut out? Those might be an option for guys with dumps that also want cutouts. But I have no idea how large they are and if they'd fit.
