"borla" bypass

"borla" bypass I have a flowmaster american thunder system on my car and want to put a 2" bypass on it and turn it into a poor mans borla, but before I do I wanted to know if anyone else has done this? How did it sound? What is the best size to use for the bi pass? Any help is appreciated.

Re: "borla" bypass Here is a few shots of the setup I have on my 98 SS. It is the stock 2.75" single exit with a 40 series Flowmaster and the 3" cutout. I have a section of pipe with a matching tip and a collector on it to bolt the pipe on if I want.
