the coil packs are easy to remove and not complicated at all. you just have to unplug the harness ,and take out a few 10 mm bolts and lift it out of the way.trust me,it will make it alot easier !

And when you put teh coil packs back on, dont bother with the rear most bolt on each side. the other 4 will hold the coil packs on just fine, but it will be much easier take them off and back on again next time.

Hmmm, well if you find a way to stretch those wires from the front coil all the way to the back plug, then you might have a problem....

Just run any wire from the coil to the plug directly below it. The important thing is that you keep each coil pack in its correct location.

You should have taken the entire coil pack tray off.. you have an 02 right? They are all mounted on a metal tray, you unplug the one big connector, adn remove the bolts holding the metal tray to the valvecover and lift off all the coils for that side of teh engine. I don't know if you have to put them back on teh same side, but I marked mine and did. With those off you should be able to get a 10 mm in and get the last bolt off the manafold from the top, you might need a swivel on it ot get to the bolt though, I used one and it was alot easier. If you do it that way, you can drop teh entire manafold out the bottom with the cat attached. The plugs are easy to get to as well, a plug socket, and an open ended wrench will get the ones in the back on the drivers side no problem. Wires don't matter either, just plug in the front coil pack and front plug, work your way back, they won't reach any other plug then the one that the coil pack is suppsoed to go to, so that's a no brainer as well.

Make sure you have the car at least 2 feet up in the air, it will make getting the headers in alot easier. It's always easier with a lift, but can be done with the car on the ground. The hard part is getting the drivers side in, that one usually has to have the collector pointed at about 5 oclock to get up where it has to go.

good luck bud. The hardest part is over. GET the car up off the ground!!! REALLY HIGH!!!
also, take the oil filter off, you dont have to drain all the oil, but just let what runs out, run out, and add around 1/4 of a quart of oil when all is said and done... it should help you get that driver's side header up...

If ya got the drivers side in, then you're good to go, that is the harder side most of the time. Just be careful to to overtighten the bolts in the heads.. get everything bolted up, start the car, let everythign get warmed up to operatign temp, shut it down and retighten them, then you shoudl be good to go.
