Default Headers vs Spark Plug Installation

Having had experience years ago with headers, it was always a bear, and a test of creativity to change the plugs on the engine. Withe the SLP, Hooker, FLP's that everyone is using, what is the status with dealing with a plug change. Is is a total nightmare or not much worse than changing the plugs on the engine with the stock Exhaust Manifolds. Just wondering if some Headers make it easier than others when it comes to the spark plug change out.
Thanks....

I've had no problem changing plugs with the MAC's. Now the Hooker shorties I had on before made it a little difficult.

I am looking forward to changing to LTs....they should make it easier to change plugs (smaller pipe around the plug).

Plug changes were easier with my old MACs and my Dynatechs vs. the stock manifolds...

Much, much, much easier with my FLP headers.

You know, I hear some of you guys saying that you spend hours getting in your plugs. Do you know that I had both exhaust manifolds off my car in less than a half hour? If the stock exhaust spark plug change really took 4 or so hours I'm convinced that I'd just yank the manifolds and get it done in no time with no scraped knuckles. Those manifolds are a breeze to yard out.

Hooker long tubes here...easy to change plugs, just takes a little patience and a few four letter words. Make damn sure you use anti sieze on those plugs! I know 2 people now that ignored my advice and stripped out thier plug holes.

I just installed my Hooker L/Ts yesterday and had no problems putting the new plugs in. The number 8 plug get it from the bottum with a stubby 3/8 drive ratchet.

I removed my strut tower brace and then it was just a matter of pointing the socket in the correct way (its all be feel). It was my first plug change and it only took me probubly 2 hours (a lot of that time was standing around with my friend).

Thanks for all the replies... sounds like things are not a problem with Hooker LT's, Mac's and FLP's. Are there any comments from people that put on the SLP Headers?

i've got the slp's and its not that bad either. drivers side is a breeze. passenger side was pretty simple except for the #8 plug. you gotta get that one from under the car. other than that, it wasnt that bad. not nearly as bad as i was expecting.
