Default High Idle?

Hey guys, I just got done installing a set of Hooker LT's on the car. Went to fire it up, and the thing wants to idle at 1400 RPM. I checked for vacuum leaks around the EGR thingy (I have the SLP LS6 intake EGR adapter thingy piece of crap) and couldn't find any. My question is do you think a loose plug wire might cause the idle to come up? It DOES sound like it has a miss, and it is hesitant about revving. And, there is raw gas. Anyway, I went ahead and test drove it anyway, and a couple times it coughed and sputtered.

I swapped in the Hookers because the SLPs had finally worn through. They wore through right by the collector, but still on the primary tubes. You think any damage might have been done internally?

TIA...

Sounds like a vacum leak to me. Try spraying intake cleaner around the EGR and listen for a change. If you hear a change then there is your leak.
