SES light on (O2 sensor help)

SES light on (O2 sensor help) I got a new exhaust system. It's a MAC catback w/ 3.5 inch pipes, custom y-pipe and a Flow master collector, and a cutout.
I also got my catalytic convertors gutted and now the SES light is on. I got someone to run Autotap for me and the front driver's side O2 sensor is bad.
I went and bought another one and I just need to put it in. Is this a complicated process? And also please give me any tips about putting it in.

Re: SES light on (O2 sensor help) It's not hard at all, I would suggest you use an O2 socket and do it when the engine is cool. You also don't want to touch the end of the O2 with or fingers. Good luck.

Re: SES light on (O2 sensor help) I hade that same problem right after thunder put mine on it's ok it's normal just brang it in the shop dealer and have them trip the light off and try it 1 time like that if it loop's on going off than have them replace the O2 sometime's thay might drop it or just touching it or moveing it around it happen's to all of us friend happen to me 5 time's now it dont come on no more just make sure you go with a new one and carefull when he install's it..... also you might not have enouif back flow sometime's wide open like that will make it og off it dont mean nothing just mean's all the Info's passing thrue there quick to quick to reed it for the O2's..... all is ok <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Re: SES light on (O2 sensor help) i put the slp lt on my car wit no cats and my light came on all the time. it would never go off put it on the tester and it was showing everything was fine. So i bought the high flow cats problem solved no more ses light <img border="0" alt="[chug]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_chug.gif" /> ......and i was told the light will sometimes go off but the car will still run like it would if the light is off....welcome to the world of technolgy screwing **** up <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
